I run Brilliant Barkers, I am a mum, teacher and a dog trainer and happily work with families to bring out the best in you and your dog.
We work with any size or breed of dog, whatever the struggle and strive to build trusting and respectful relationships.

Here is a video of us training a young puppy to stay 'close' and reduce pulling on the lead. Notice the puppy having fun and learning to choose the person over the distractions.
The puppy's owner is videoing 'in the moment' and has a copy of this, to help with her puppy training.
We use a mixture of teaching techniques depending on your preferred learning style, just like every dog, every person is different and we recognise this:
*We help you to learn by us:
* demonstrating first
* you listening to instructions and 'having a go'
* practising some techniques first
* looking at photos or a helpful guide
* writing notes and practising at another time
* reading our Whatsapp summary and watching the videos back after each lesson.
We often work at your home, out and about and anywhere you might need extra support e.g the car, cafe, parks, vets etc.
(This means we can even train your dog away from you and share the dog training at a time that is convenient for you.)
